Indian Railways has extended the cancellation of passenger train services till 14th of next month. Earlier, it had announced the suspension of all its passenger services from 22nd March midnight to 31st March. The decision was taken in view of 21-day lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

However, freight train operations are being continued to ensure the supply essential commodities.
