New Delhi – Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology – Delhi (IIITD) and The University at Albany, State University of New York (SUNY Albany), have officially entered into a Memorandum of Agreement, solidifying their commitment to global education, cultural exchange, and collaborative research initiatives.
The agreement, signed by Prof. Havidán Rodríguez, President of SUNY Albany, and Prof. Ranjan Bose, Director of IIITD, emphasizes the mutual interests of both institutions in fostering international understanding and promoting faculty and student experiences. Over the next five years, the collaboration will encompass various key areas, including faculty development, dual degree agreements, visiting scholars programs, short-term academic and cultural experiences, cooperative research projects, and student exchange programs.
Prof. Ranjan Bose, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This strategic partnership will play a pivotal role in fostering innovation through joint projects that would enhance the quality and impact of research. Student and faculty exchanges will lead to both knowledge exchange and knowledge co-creation.”
