Innovative edtech RISE expands to Bengaluru and Hyderabad; Plans expansion in Mumbai next

The innovative, industry-led, tech-first ed-tech platform, RISE has announced the expansion of their footprint to Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The expansion to India’s key technology led cities is a critical milestone in RISE’s expansion plans across India to encourage and empower more students and working professionals while increasing tie-ups with local universities. The platform has been a game changer in the ed-tech industry in the past few years with a vision to shape a worldwide community of thinkers, risk-takers, change-makers, innovators and leaders. The startup also plans to expand to Mumbai in the next quarter.

RISE is on an aggressive expansion spree and envisions to enroll 9000 students by the end of FY23 with a current student base of 1500. In addition to this, the ed-tech platform has also currently partnered with three educational institutions, including MIT World Peace University, K M Munshi Institute of Advanced Studies, and Shree L.R Tiwari Degree College to augment their hybrid education.  RISE works beyond academic excellence and intends to transform the fields of technology, data science, analytics, artificial intelligence, public policy, cybersecurity, finance & accounting, FinTech, global business administration, marketing research – and more –  to help propel students into the future.

Commenting on the expansion in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, Gaurav Bhatia, CEO at RISE stated, “We at RISE endeavor to strengthen careers and prepare students for the practical world ahead. We aim to make education accessible to every corner of the world. Hyderabad and Bengaluru have always been one of the biggest targeted cities with an ever growing demand from students and partners. Mumbai, where we soon plan to start operations, is another key market for us. Some of our key partners like KPMG, Grant Thornton and Aeon research are operationally based out of these regions. This has been one of the biggest reasons to expand our footprint in these regions in the backdrop of global expansion plans. Moreover, 40% of our enrolled student base also hails from these cities, making it the right choice.”

Based out of Pune and boasting an 80-strong team, RISE is targeting, in the coming financial year, a fourfold growth both in the number of courses and students. The platform has partnered with some of the biggest names in their respective fields, including with KPMG in India for business analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence and machine learning; with Grant Thornton for finance & accounting, and FinTech; with ThriveDXSaaS for cybersecurity; with Aeon Research for marketing research; and with SRH Mobile University (Germany) for a global MBA..
