Launching the scheme, Secretary District Legal Servive Authority Kokrajar, Bidyut Medhi explained that the scheme would be implemented by a District level committee chaired by District and Sessions judge and Deputy Commissioner and others as members.

A meeting was held which was chaired by Kokrajar Deputy Commissioner Partha Pratim Majumdar.  Mazumdar in his speech expressed the need to change the outlook of the society towards jail inmates. He emphasised that with proper technical education based on the capacity of an individual a jain inmate can be best utilised as human resource during and aftermath of their release from the jail.

The meeting was attended by Director of Skill Development Prabir Das, District Programme Manager Aminul Haque Ahmed, Superintended Jail Debo Kumar Hazarika, Director of Don Bosco Institute Jakob M O. and CEO R.K. Mahilary.

 The jail inmated expressed their gratitude and happiness for the effort  being taken by DLSA,Kokrajar for their better future.
