Department of Media Science, The Heritage Academy, celebrated International Women’s Day in The Heritage Campus on 8th March, 2019. The program in its third year continued to celebrate women achievers. Like previous years the event comprised of a panel discussion with women from diverse fields coming together to speak about ‘Balance for Better’.

The Programme was inaugurated by panelists followed by Mr Probir Roy, Executive Director, KBT, CEO Mr Pradip Kumar Agarwal, KBT and Dr. Gour Banerjee, Principal, The Heritage Academy.

The panelists who spoke on ‘Balance for better’ were Ms. Patti Hoffman, US Consul-General in Kolkata, Prof. Anju Seth, Director-IIM Kolkata, Ms. Sohag Sen,Theater Personality and Ms. Madiha Ahmed, a Youth Mentor. The discussion was moderated by Prof. (Dr.) Madhupa Bakshi, Dean, Department of Media Science, The Heritage Academy, Kolkata.
