    Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said internet, TV and phone facility would be provided to all houses in the state through Fibre Grid, which would facilitate video conferencing facility. He said ten lakh set-top boxes were already readied.

    Mr Naidu said the state government is ahead in e-governance, e-Technology and all the services would be made online soon. Speaking after inaugurating eight IT companies at IT Service Tech Park at Autonagar in Vijayawada yesterday he said that he wants to see successor state of Andhra Pradesh as an IT hub soon. He said that nine IT companies started functioning in Visakhapatnam and 20 IT companies are ready to start their operations in Vijayawada.

    The eight IT companies started in Vijayawada under APNRT, he said would provide training and jobs to candidates. He invited IT professionals of this region working abroad to set up their companies in Andhra Pradesh.

    The Chief Minister said hardware technology would be developed at a cost of Rs 200 crore in Vijayawada by June. He said priority would be given to software companies in Amaravati by providing better facilities than that in Hyderabad and Bangalore. He said Amaravati would be developed as a knowledge hub and new technology would be promoted along with IT companies. He also launched a website developed by AP Non-Resident Telugu’s APNRT-www.itcentral.in on the occasion.
