Jagat Pharma, a trusted name in Ayurvedic healthcare solutions, organized a day-long eye care camp at SHEOWS, an old age home in Garhmukteshwar, UP. During the eye camp, a team of 5 medical members along with 2 highly experienced Ayurvedic experts of Jagat Pharma, provided consultancy to around 100 elderly people suffering from different types of eye problems along with 7 faculty members of Sheows.
For more than 20 years, Saint Hardyal Educational and Orphans Welfare Society (SHEOWS), has been working to save the lives of the elderly people across Delhi NCR and Uttar Pradesh. The Garhmukteshwar branch, which is home to more than 500 senior citizens, was an ideal place to serve the maximum number of patients in a day by Jagat Pharma.
The camp offered benefits to elderly population with multiple vision-related issues, primarily due to old age and eye related disorders. People in their 70s and 80s are indeed more prone to age related macular degeneration benefitted from the camp and doctors consultation.
The camp offered comprehensive eye checkups conducted by skilled optometrists and doctors to identify any underlying eye conditions or potential issues that may impact the visual well-being of members of society.
Director of Jagat Pharma, Dr. Mandeep Singh Basu expressed his emotions mentioning “Advanced age is often linked to deteriorating vision and ocular issues. Besides, if one is already afflicted with diabetes and other retinal eye problems could be higher.
