JAIN Online – ENGAGE to Organise Learner Expedition on World Environment Day

Bengaluru : JAIN Online – ENGAGE,  the learner community platform is pleased to announce the organization of a Bangalore-Mysore-Coorg trip for its learners on 3rd and 4th June, in celebration of World Environment Day. Themed as ‘Unveiling Heritage, Unleashing Thrills,’ this expedition promises unlimited fun, adventure, networking, and a chance for learners to contribute to the environment through sapling plantation.

The trip will commence with the departure from Bangalore to Mysore at 5 am on 3rd June. In Mysore, learners will have the opportunity to interact with the Maharaja of Mysore in a special session, where they will delve into the rich cultural heritage of the city and gain fascinating insights into the history and traditions of the city from the Maharaja. From there, the journey will continue to the captivating land of Coorg, offering a plethora of fun and adventure activities for the participants. Team-building games and bonfires will facilitate connections among the learners, fostering a sense of camaraderie.

As part of the expedition, a sapling plantation drive will be organized, allowing learners to actively contribute to environmental conservation by planting trees. This initiative aligns with the spirit of World Environment Day and encourages learners to make a positive impact on the planet.

Dr. Raj Singh, Vice Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), expressed his enthusiasm for educational tours and their role in practical learning. He highlighted the significance of celebrating World Environment Day by connecting with nature and emphasized the opportunities offered by the expedition to explore cultural heritage, engage in exciting activities, and connect with fellow students.
