Hyderabad : Jiva Ayurveda has set a record of consulting the highest number of patients daily through its telemedicine centre. The recognition awarded by India Book of Records confirms that doctors at Jiva Ayurveda consult more than 8000 patients every day. It must be noted that the actual number of patients consulted daily is higher considering that in addition to the telemedicine centre, Jiva Ayurveda also has 80 clinics across India where consultations are provided.

Jiva Ayurveda was established by Dr Partap Chauhan in 1992 and has been a pioneer of integrating cutting-edge technology with Ayurveda to deliver treatment and medicines in places where people do not have access to high quality Ayurveda treatment. The new record was made possible by Dr Chauhan’s telemedicine project—TeleDoc, which was also awarded with the World Summit Award by the United Nations in Geneva.
