  • Jivas 2021 Fashion Show Promoting the Tribal craft of India starts from Arunachal Pradesh

    New Delhi: Foxtail Heritage Fashion Association announced the launch of Jivas 2021 Powered by Arunachal Pradesh Tourism in association with Incredible India (Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India) and Matru Kriti (Helping Women develop their wings) at Press Club of India, New Delhi to promote Arunachal Pradesh Tourism & uplifting the tribal people of Arunachal Pradesh and their textile and handloom industry and to empower the rural and tribal artistes, artisans, and people, celebrating the rich heritage of India starting from Arunachal Pradesh the land of rising sun at the Far East and then slowly moving to other parts of India. The press conference was followed by showcasing the tribal art of Jharkhand by Designer Harish K Vashisht showcased Tussar Silk from Jharkhand made by Tribal community. Ritu Pandey Owner & proprietor of Matrukriti, Sanjay Shokeen, Ravi Ranjan, Nitin Chaudhary, Rahul Khanna, Bikram Kumar Sen and Sudeb Chatterjee was present at the press conference.

    The first edition of Jivas 2021 will promote Arunachal Pradesh by showcasing the ethnic beauty of the state through fashion and glamour. This year the event majorly focuses on Arunachal Pradesh tourism, uplifting the tribal people of Arunachal Pradesh and their textile and handloom industry and giving job opportunities to them. Moving forward, we will celebrate and focus on the culture and textile of other parts of India.  Jivas 2021 is associated with National and international designers like Ashikur Rehman (Bangladesh Designer), Vipin Agarwal, Mukesh Dubey (Specializes in Khadi), Tanya Yami (Arunachal Pradesh), Harish K Vashist (Renowned Menswear Designer), Harish K Vashisht (Renowned Men’s wear designer), and Jennu Doyom (Arunachal Pradesh, Roopa G (Banglore), and many more.

    Jivas 2021 is a fundraising fashion event to boost the morale of cancer patients and Support them emotionally and financially. This, on one hand, will showcase the immense talent of the local designers and models, and on the other, will shed light on the grandeur of the state through its traditional designs, textiles, jewelry, cultures, cuisines and creativity at national and international levels. It’s high time the world knows about Arunachal Pradesh, the Hidden Paradise! 

    Mr. Rinchin Sangey (John) Chairman Foxtail said  Fox Tail is supporting women’s skill development Programme, educating a number children and donating towards welfare of the needy people in Delhi. Jivas 21 the fashion show is yet another innovative step of Fox Tail to not only showcases a fusion of Arunachal Pradesh’s traditional fabrics in a trendy avatar, but also to raise awareness about cancer and promote tourism in the North East. The event is that some of the models and designers are cancer survivors themselves. More than the remarkable fashion statements, the determination, and positivity of the survivors will be in the limelight with a remarkable social statement.

Jivas 2021 celebrates high fashion, as well as the Spirit and Hope of Cancer Survivors.

    Along with the haute couture creations of a dozen designers, the graceful presentations by the models and cultural programs, Jivas 2021, the event will also, showcase Arunachal Pradesh’s gifts of natural beauty and cultural diversity. The state’s uniqueness must be fully acknowledged and appreciated in terms of its co-existing cultures, commendable cuisines, pristine places and tremendous talent.
