  • JK Lakshmipat University’s students extend helping hand to destitute this Diwali

    Jaipur : The student council of JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Student Life, in collaboration with Community Development Club-JKLU recently organised a four day-charity event ‘Joy of Giving’ during the occasion of Diwali. The initiative was organized to provide light and joy in the lives of the needy people.

    Under the program, the JKLU family donated clothes and provided financial assistance. The students first went to the 200 ft Bypass where they donated clothes, food and sweets to the destitute people present there. Following that, they donated clothes and food to the people who live at temporary shelters at Bhankrota. 

    “We are extremely proud of our students for their strong contribution to spreading joy in the lives of the people during the auspicious occasion of Diwali. We owe it to each one of them to come up and execute this initiative all by their own. It gives me immense pleasure to state that not only our students are a powerhouse of talent but also they have an empathetic heart,” said Dr Dheeraj Sanghi, Vice Chancellor, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur.

    They also donated some clothes and eatables to their house keeping staff and workers. Their last stop was ‘INDRA KUSTH ASHRAM’, where they donated essentials.
