Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in association with Hansa Medcell offers US International PG Programs in Distance Education

International Post Graduate Programs in Distance Education Mode.

The course can be done in Cardiology, Diabetology and Rheumatology; the programs cover all the clinical aspects of these specialties, in-depth.

Who should do it?

The course is best suited for those medical practitioners, who cannot break away from their daily practice to acquire specialist skills. General Practitioners, Consultant Physicians and Orthopedics are all welcome for the programs.

Why do this?

Incidences of Cardiac, Diabetes and Rheumatoid Arthritis are rising. A fairly significant part of daily clinical practice of the clinician goes towards managing these ailments. This is the opportunity for clinicians, to gain up to date skills and improve their Practice.

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine has developed these programs in collaboration with Medical Education and Scientific Foundation, New York. The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine was established in 1893 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

After more than 110 years, Johns Hopkins remains a world leader in both teaching and research. The mission of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is to educate medical students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows in accordance with the highest professional standards; to prepare clinicians to practice patient-centered medicine of the highest standard; and to identify and answer fundamental questions in the mechanisms, prevention and treatment of disease, in health care delivery and in the basic sciences. Medical Educational & Scientific Foundation has been founded by the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) which was established in the year 1803.

Eligibility:

Post Graduate Degree in Medicine or a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the specialty.

Fee:

The international fee for the program is US$1800; the program is being made available to doctors in South Asia at INR 60,000. Educational grants are available on a limited basis that further subsidise the course fee.

Schedule:

This program is approved for release from 1st July 2012 through 1st February 2014. The program will then be reviewed, updated if necessary, and released for the next 2.5 years.
