Joint Secy Union Ministry of I&B reviews functioning of I&PRD, DD and AIR in Jammu

Joint Secretary Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Anju Nigam today reviewed the functioning of Information and Public Relations Department, Doordarshan and All India Radio in Jammu today.
Various issues discussed in the meeting include increasing the duration of the news bulletin on Doordarshan, AIR, telecast of one more news bulletin between 7:00 pm and 10:30 pm.
The other issues discussed at the meeting included strengthening of Doordarshan and AIR Kendras in J&K by way of infrastructure and human resource, for which it was suggested that a special recruitment drive should be held for filling up the vacant posts in these organizations.
