Jorhat : Dr. Kamal Malla Bujarbaruah, the vice chancellor of Assam Agricultural University (AAU) to call upon the newly recruited scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of the state to work with positivity and strength so to desire to continue to pursue goals to fill up the farmers gap within the jurisdiction they are entailed, i.e., for what you all are recruited for the kendras among both men and women for 33 centres all across the state that is why you all are placed where you are.

The vice chancellor said, a major role will be how significantly you can carry the tested and evolvement technology in the agriculture and allied sector to the user group, unless you understand the technology and take the interest to benefit the farmers community to pass on the new technology from lab to farm. Only than new happenings could be generated. First you are to understand which technology you are taking for the user group after yourself being comfortable with the technology which could be fitted accordingly, so that whatever question comes out you could answer them promptly and clearly. If you are not thorough with the technology than more than 50% of the value of technology will go out because you are not comfortable with the technology.

Moreover as a new comer for KVKs, being a young scientist, one will automatically know with consultation with seniors and experts  where and how to place the up-to-date technology among clusters and working groups which will make you very comfortable at the doorsteps for your credit, the vice chancellor added.
