  • Judith D’souza rescued, will be back in Delhi today evening

    New Delhi: An Indian woman, Judith D’souza, working for an international aid group, who was kidnapped in the Afghan capital last month, has been rescued unharmed, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj saidtoday.

    Judith D’Souza, who works for the Aga Khan Foundation, was abducted on 9th June from the heart of  Kabul city.

    In a tweet, Swaraj said “I am happy to inform you that Judith D’Souza has been rescued”. She thanked Afghanistan for its help and support.

    Swaraj said in a separate comment on Twitter, she had spoken to D’Souza, who would be arriving in New Delhi Saturday evening.
