Mumbai : Kanakia International School, Chembur, organized a Global Musical Fusion Interschool solo singing competition in which over 50 students from more than 15 educational institutions competed with zeal and won on Saturday.
The audience experienced some breathtaking performances by students who showcased their talent in English Pop, Indian Classical, and Bollywood songs at this musical event. The young children’s performance captivated the audience, and they all thoroughly enjoyed the event.
The event saw presence of eminent personalities from the music and film industry like Mehroo Cama (Singer & Lyricist), Pranaay Pradhaan (Composer, Music Produce & Live Performer), Poonam Datar (Hindustani Classical Singer), Daniel Quadros (Singer & Songwriter), and Aparna Biwalkar (Award-winning Singer, Music Composer, & Music Professor) who were on the panel to judge the event. In addition to assigning grades to each performance, the judges praised each performer for their efforts and talent.
Mr. Nitesh Tiwari (Writer, Lyricist, and Film Director – Dangal & Chhichhore fame) blessed the event as a Chief Guest and praised the students’ performances, emphasising that they are the industry’s future in the coming years.
The students who won the prizes were Arianna Rebello, Sasha Raghani, Megan Mathew, Dia Iyer, Anaya Dharnidharka, Angad Kapoor, Myrah Thakkar, Aditi Anurag, Shaurya Singh, Akshat Sharma, Thanishka Krishnan, Advika Nair, and Niharika Kshatriya, Gayatri Sathyanarayanan, Matilda Daniel Nadar, and Hiranyada Mehta.
Ms Seema Kshatriya, Principal, Kanakia International School – CBSE, Chembur, said, “We thank and congratulate all the students for participating in the competition and on their success.
