New Delhi: Rajya Sabha member and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi’s high profile daughter Kanimozhi, co-accused in the Rs 1.76 lakh crores 2G spectrum scam  appear before CBI special court in New Delhi  . It is speculated

Argument in Court, Kanimozhi’s counsel Ram Jethmalani blamed the former Telecom Minister A Raja for the entire spectrum conspiracy, claiming that her client was just a share holder in the DMK-owned Kalaignar TV.

This is a major shift from the DMK’s earlier stance where the party has held that both A Raja and Kanimozhi were innocent and being ‘falsely implicated’ in the spectrum case.

With the CBI special court summoning Kanimozhi it is now almost certain she may be arrested by the investigation agency for furter questioning. , If Kanimozhi is arrested by the CBI, it would be for the first time that a member of Tamil Nadu’s first family is put behind bars.
