In Karnataka, Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwar has said that the Lok Sabha election debacle will have no impact on the coalition government in the state and will complete its full five-year term.

Speaking to media persons after the informal cabinet meeting in Bengaluru today, he said the general election result is not a mandate against the state government.

The informal cabinet meeting was called by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to discuss the election outcome.
