Kashmir India’s internal issue, no room for Pakistan to interfere: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today said Kashmir is India’s internal issue and there is no room for Pakistan or any other foreign country to interfere in it. In a series of tweets, Mr Gandhi said he may disagree with NDA government on many issues, but he is clear on this matter.

Mr Gandhi said there is violence in Jammu and Kashmir because it is instigated and supported by Pakistan which is known to be the prime supporter of terrorism across the world.

Earlier today, briefing media in New Delhi, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh will always remain an integral part of India and no amount of deception by Pakistan shall change this truth.

He said Congress has noticed reports citing an alleged petition moved by Pakistan government to United Nations on Jammu and Kashmir, wherein Rahul Gandhi’s name has been dragged.

Mr Surjewala said instead of doing such things, Pakistan should answer to the world about violations of human rights in POK-Gilgit-Hunza-Baltistan.

He added that Pakistan owes an explanation for alleged persecution of over 70 million Mohajirs and killing of over 25,000 by Pakistani forces.
