Kochi: Kerala village-based edutech startup Interval Learning Platform has surpassed expectations for the financial year 2023–24, recording an impressive revenue of Rs 17 crore. The company has now set its sights on a bold target of Rs 70 crore by the end of the current financial year, marking a remarkable leap in its journey. The platform’s monthly active learners have surged, crossing the 25,000 mark at the beginning of the year, reflecting a robust and expanding customer base. In recent months, Interval’s monthly recurring revenue has soared by 240 percent, showcasing its widening reach and increasing operational efficiency.
Founder and CEO, Mr. Ramees Ali, attributes this success to a strong focus on customer satisfaction, strategic marketing initiatives, and significant investments in organizational development, including international expansion. “We’ve achieved success at Interval by prioritizing high quality personalized tutoring, implementing strategic initiatives, and investing in organizational development, including expanding internationally,” he said. The company is in the process of expanding its operations to Finland.
Interval Learning Platform was founded in 2021 in Areekode, a small town in Kerala’s Malappuram district, by five passionate educators. The company has already achieved significant financial success and continues to see substantial growth in its user base. Interval’s rapid rise can be credited to its commitment to personalized education, leveraging advanced technology to provide tailored learning experiences. The company’s innovative approach and dedication to quality education have set a new standard in the EdTech industry.
The Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman, had also acknowledged Interval’s remarkable growth, highlighting its impact on the Indian EdTech startup ecosystem. Her endorsement underscores the company’s influence and potential within the industry. She was delivering a speech at the ‘Emerging Bharat Growing Kerala’ conclave at Thiruvananthapuram in November.
