Kokajhar : A unit of Red Horns Division conducted a lecture on World AIDS Day in Jharbari High School in 
The event started with the Lecture followed by an interactive session with the locals and culminated with a group photograph. In present scenario where the cases of deadly disease like AIDS are coming up in high numbers, it is important to spread awareness and educate people about it’s causes and prevention. In an attempt to do the same, the students and locals were informed about origin and causes of AIDS.
They were also educated about various symptoms and the preventive measures to avoid STDs. Students, teachers and about 30 locals including Gaon Buras of nearby villages attended the lecture.
