Hyderabad : Globalart, India’s  one-of-its-kind international creative art programme for children between the ages of 4 – 15 years is to organise “Kolor Champ ’18, a nationwide Art Competition here in the city on Sunday 28th October, 2018 at Shree Convention Centre, Kompally, Hyderabad.

Over 850 kids from 7 states are expected participate in the competition. This will be Globalart India’s 12th National Competition and the biggest ever competition on Creativity for the kids . Kolor Champ ’18  is an annual affair held each year in different states across the country.

This event is not yet another regular drawing competition. The event aims at persuading the children to express their thoughts through drawing. And, it’s important that children are allowed to express their perceptions and such ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking would instil in them self-esteem and confidence adds Namrata Mukherjee, Business Head of Global Art.

“Creativity is a critical tool for success in today’s world. With creativity honed in the early stages of life, these children who are the citizens of tomorrow will be better equipped to find innovative solutions to various complex issues in a highly competitive world”, said Dinesh Victor, Managing Director, SIP Academy India.

Creativity is the only skill humans have a monopoly on as even supercomputers cannot match the human capability of creative thinking! Creativity is a critical life skill and will always be in demand, regardless of what field one works in says Dinesh. Today, creativity is rated as one of the most important skills that one needs to cultivate to be able to navigate life successfully.  Kolor Champ ’18 is the competition to judge creative talent in the kids. And it is only of its kind program in the country.

SIP Academy India which has been running world class programmes for skill development for children since 2003 launched Globalart program in the year 2005.

Nearly 55000 children have gone through this program and 8000 attend Globalart classes every week across country in over 130 centres.  Globally this program is run in 17 countries and trained 2,75,000 children in the age group of 4 to 15years.

Globalart has a systematic and structured curriculum which is aimed to develop the creative potential of children using art. The program helps children explore, express and create independently.
