Kosal Saren of Barkan Management Co. Achieves ARM® Designation

NEWTON and METHUEN: The Institute of Real Estate Management® (IREM®) Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 is pleased to announce that Kosal Saren with Barkan Management Co. has earned the ARM® (Accredited Residential Manager®) designation.

The residential property management certification teaches early-career real estate managers the core competencies to manage residential properties successfully. As such the ARM designation is widely recognized in the residential property management industry with recipients noted for demonstrating excellence in residential property management.

Saren, a resident of Methuen, Massachusetts, is a property manager with Barkan Management Co. in Newton, Massachusetts.

“It’s a pleasure to recognize Kosal for achieving the ARM designation,” said Melissa Fish-Crane, 2021 president of IREM Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 and principal and COO of the Peabody Companies.  “To become an effective residential property manager, you need to know it all: budgeting, leasing, maintenance, risk management, resident relations and retention – all while being accessible to your residents around the clock. And that’s exactly what the ARM certification helps industry professionals, like Kosal, achieve, each and every day.”
