  • KRDS India launches #socialdesi, a fun twitter campaign aimed at redefining social media, in a desi way!

    For the launch of its Twitter @KRDS_India account, instead of launching a contest aiming at rewarding India’s best social media professionals, the Social and Mobile Agency has decided to take a quirky route and honour Twitter’s funniest users with the #SocialDesi campaign. Participants will get a chance to win personalised gifts along with one Google Nexus 5 through this contest.

    Starting July 21 until Friday, July 25, KRDS India’s mission will be to help digital enthusiasts loosen up, relieve stress, and have some fun on Twitter. To do so, the agency will ask die-hard social media addicts to redefine Social Media in a desi and fun way through a series of 30 questions, 6 questions to be answered per day.

    To participate, users will have to follow the @KRDS_India account and reply to the agency’s questions with the #SocialDesi hashtag. KRDS’ esteemed jury of social hitch-hikers will then decide on the funniest / desi’est tweet responses.

    For each of the 30 questions asked, the funniest champion will walk away with a personalized tee of glory with their winning tweet printed on it. One lucky winner will also get their hands on the Google Nexus 5 as a grand prize! The winning tweets will also be featured in the agency’s ‘Pocket Guide to Social Media’ booklet, that is planned to be launched in August.
