Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC) which is aggressively doing marketing of Khadi & Village Industries products, has today added one more component i.e. Gift Vouchers to attract customers and increase its sales. Shri Kalraj Mishra, Minister of 
Newly appointed Minister of State Shri Haribhai Prathibhai Chaudhary and KVIC Chairman V.K.Saxena were also present on the launch of the coupons. Speaking to the press KVIC Chairman V.K.Saxena said “ the scheme would particularly be helpful for corporate houses and marketing agencies to gift their employees and clients as it is the new gifting trend in the corporate sections.” Gift vouchers will be available in all KVICs departmental sales outlets(DSOs)soon. KVIC has for the first time launched this gift voucher scheme.
KVIC Chairman V.K.Saxena further said that there is a growing demand of Khadi in all section of the society and the gift vouchers will be very lucrative in the coming festive seasons where anyone can gift from a small amount of Rs. 500/- to Rs. 5000/- to their near and dear ones to buy Khadi products of their own choice. Speaking on the occasion Shri Kalraj Mishra said that new Khadi India sales outlets will be opened in all capital cities of the State very soon.
