Levelok Celebrates 20 Years of Ladder Safety

Poulsbo, WA :  What began in March of 1995 as a vision to develop, manufacture and distribute high-reliability safety products is now a worldwide reality.

President and CEO, Phillip Lanzafame, says the future holds even more promise. “In just the past few months, we have secured another new product approval in 2 of the leading USA telecommunications organizations, Verizon and Cox Communications.” This adds to the growing list of Levelok products now used by hundreds of utilities across the globe.

According to a CDC report from April 2014, “Falls, particularly falls from ladders, contribute substantially to injuries in the workplace,” and according to a study in the May 2007 issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, “The number of ladder-related injuries in the United States increased by more than 50 percent from 1990 to 2005.” The study included that more than 2.1 million people were treated in hospital emergency rooms for ladder-related injuries between 1990 to 2005, which averages out to more than 136,000 cases a year.

There are many ways to prevent ladder fall injuries, but Levelok Corporation takes it a step further by providing the exact equipment necessary to ensure the safest time without stress.

Lanzafame says, “Now is the time to make ladder safety a priority in all sectors.” Levelok safety products include Stabilizers, Leveling Systems, Standouts, Tie downs and Ladder Carrying Equipment for reducing shoulder and back injuries.
