  • LIBA partners IIFT to introduce South India’s first Certificate Program in Export Management

    Chennai: LIBA (Loyola Institute of Business Administration), the only private B-school in South India to consistently rank in the Top 10, today announced a new certificate program in Export Management in partnership with IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade).. Arguably, South India’s first such program in this area, the six month course is designed to give attendees advanced training in handling the complex and constantly changing international trade scenario. The course which commences in Jan 29th 2011 will be taught by senior faculty from IIFT & LIBA besides industry experts. The range of teaching methods used in the programme includes – formal lectures, followed by discussions, case studies, group discussions and exercises. In addition to classroom activities, seminars and workshops involving industry experts would be organized as a part of the learning process. Throughout the programme, participants are encouraged and given opportunities to do projects for greater effectiveness of the teaching-cum-learning process. The industry in India and the world in general are suffering from lack of qualified personnel who can adeptly manage import-export.
