  • Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India is all set to cross 350 crore rupees business mark in J&K (Srinagar Division) this year compared to 250 crore rupees business recorded last year. This was stated by Senior Divisional Manager of the LIC for Srinagar Division, Balwant Singh, while addressing a press conference in Jammu. He also

    announced launch of two new invariable insurance plans of the Corporation. He said that the Corporation has already registered a business of Rs 281 crore so far up to last month of this financial year. Last year the Corporation had sold 1.84 lakh insurance policies under Srinagar division. Mr. Singh informed that the company, however, has fixed a target of 2.21 lakh policies and Rs 368 crore businesses (FPI) in Srinagar Division this year.
