  • New Delhi :  Aloft Hotels, the new destination sensation from Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Worldwide, Inc. , is set to rock Chennai and Live at Aloft   w xyz barBengaluru. For the 3rd consecutive year, Aloft Hotels partners with Chennai Live, Tamil Nadu’s first English radio station, to present Chennai Live Band Hunt Season 4.

    With the aim of promoting new talent in music and engaging with the Gen Y traveller, Aloft Hotels is delivering its promise to showcase aspiring new talent and provide a platform for emerging artists. As a build up to the Chennai Live Band Hunt Season 4, Aloft Hotels in Bangalore, and Chennai, will showcase a 3 week special edition of “Live at Aloft Hotels” performances. Well known bands like Crossroads, Glue and Wild Things Federation will perform at Aloft Chennai OMR-IT Expressway and Retro Pulse, Remy Venky and The News, winners of Band Hunt Season 3, will perform at Aloft Bengaluru Whitefield on 16th, 23rd and 30th August, 2013.

    Bands can enter the contest via Telephone, SMS, online or at the registration kiosks across the two cities. Auditions will be held in Aloft Chennai, OMR – IT Expressway on 31st August, 2013 and 1st September, 2013 and in Aloft Bengaluru Whitefield on 6th and 7th of September 2013. The Grand Finale will include a big closing act and the winner of the Chennai Live Band Hunt Season 4 will receive Rupees 1 lakh cash award. Two winning bands will perform live at the opening of the Aloft Cessna Park Bengaluru scheduled to open later this year.
