Inspired by Aesop’s Fable, ‘The Hare & The Tortoise’, the latest James Ferreira Collection is about the balance in Ecology, Responsible Fashion and the morale of the fable, perseverance pays. Lapin, freely available due to annual culling, is used along with prints of the endangered Star back Tortoise. Forest colors like Moss Green, Golden Yellow, Teal Blue and Burnt Sienna are dominated by Black. Breaking away from free flowing drapes, Wool, Satin and Chiffon by Llorma, Italy, have been folded, pleated and tucked into A-line, Trapeze and Boxy shapes.
