Madhur Bhandarkar, the famous Bollywood director interacted with the students of The Heritage Academy on 29th September 2018. The Department of Media Sciences, The Heritage Academy Kolkata organized an event named as Ad Adda where Mr. Bhandarkar was the chief guest during the prize distribution ceremony on the final day.

 

During his interaction, Mr. Bhandarkar cited various examples from his films starting from Page 3, Corporate, Indu sarkar, Fashion, Heroine and many more where he gave the instances of real life leading roles which have inspired him to do films on such topics. The box office welcomes the films of Mr. Bhandarkar which scores high in terms of revenue and popularity in the bollywood industry.

 

Department of Media sciences have organized this event Ad Adda on 28th September 2018 which was participated by various colleges across the city. The programme witnessed some of the mind boggling competitions like making an advertisement, film marketing and many more. Here the students got excellent opportunities to display their talent in conceptualizing advertisements which will help them in their careers.

 

During the day of interaction with Madhur Bhandarkar, the students asked various questions to him related to various roles in film industry like the role of an assistant director and many more. “Such platform give the students an opportunity to showcase their talents and also interact with various celebrities in the world of media and films,” said Mr Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions. The programme also witnessed the presence of Dr.Madhupa Bakshi, Dean Department of Media sciences, Prof. Gour Bannerjee, Principal, The Heritage academy, Mrs. Meenakshi Chaudhary form Vikram Solar Pvt. Ltd and many more.
