Mumbai : India-based global billion-dollar enterprise – The Mahindra Group – presents ‘Mahindra Open Drive 2022,’ an exciting weekend celebration of music, arts and culture. India’s first live, nomadic, drive-out festival, Mahindra Open Drive (MOD) is a music driven, adventure and cultural glamping weekend that aims to bring diverse corners of the country closer by traveling to new destinations and bringing to life fresh curations of music and culture in each edition.
To be held on the last Saturday of January aka January 29th at Camp Max, KaloteMokashi, MOD is decidedly a fitting reason for individuals to steer away from their busy schedules and escape into a thrilling weekend of fun activities to enjoy with their friends and other like minded people. Nestled in the valley of Mount Max and overlooking the clear blue waters of Lake Kalote, Camp Max is considered to be one of India’s most premium campsite hosting an Amphitheater, glamping, adventure activities and much more, making it the perfect destination for the Mahindra Open Drive fest. The campsite is located off the Mumbai-Pune highway and situated between Karjat and Khopoli, making it easily accessible by road for Mumbaikars as well as Punekars.
In this first, all new avatar, the fest has set sights on unleashing the indie spirit of Western India via a rustic camping theme that combines music, culture and adventure, while bringing people together in the midst of nature to reconnect with it. Readying attendees for a day full of revelry, the day-long festival will begin at noon on Saturday, where fellow attendees can enjoy multiple activities and event line-ups while striking new friendships and making beautiful memories, following all relevant social distancing and suggested safety protocols. Those interested can also book weather-proof tents with air beds to stay the night at Camp Max and check out the following morning.
The festival will be hosted by the uber popular ZerxesWadia and will engage its audience in a musical revelry with a buzzing line-up of India’s much loved musicians such as Benny Dayal&Funktuation ft. The Hornflakes, TabaChake, The Local Train, Peter Cat & Recording Co., Voctronica, Kamakshi Khanna, and RaghavMeattle. Alongside these, surprise art and cultural activities will also be organized for the guests to participate in.
Equipped with comfortable and cozy tents that make it perfect for families and for groups of friends getting out of the city together, MOD aims to set a very fun, vacation-esque vibe while audiences will drive down to a day filled with adventure sports. A variety of adrenaline-rushing outdoor activities, such as kayaking, zip-lining, archery and pottery, also await.

Mahindra’s ‘Open Drive Festival’ 2022 is conceptualised, programmed, promoted and delivered by Hyperlink Brand Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and will be held at Camp Max on 29th January 2022.
