  • Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences to organize faculty development programme on Internationalization & Collaboration

    Manipal: In a bid to step up and enhance faculty development via training, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal is organizing AICTE sponsored Faculty Development Program (FDP) on virtual platform, which will be unveiled on Jan 4, 2021.  The programme will be inaugurated by Col. B Venkat, Director, Faculty Development Cell, AICTE, New Delhi.

    The first phase of the event which is scheduled on Jan 4, 2021 will witness around 200 Pharmacy teachers from across 18 states of India. The event will feature 50 speakers as resource persons from various reputed Universities and Industries. The objective of the event is to explore the opportunities in the field of Internationalization in Pharmaceutical Sciences, to Improve and Enhance the Collaborative Research and to define Strategies to overcome the Hurdles in Internationalization of Pharmacy Education and Collaborative research across countries.

    Speaking on the upcoming event, Dr Anup Naha, Program Coordinator, FDP said, “We are excited to unveil this unique and enriching faculty training programme in collaboration with AICTE as we aim to build and enhance collaborative research strategies that is transcending boundaries. We look forward for a fruitful outcome and confident that this platform will enhance skills for the participating faculty members.”
