In Manipur, flash flood due to incessant rain has inundated low laying areas of the valley districts including state capital Imphal.

Flood water has overflowed at some parts of the riverbanks of the major rivers like Nambul, Iril and Imphal rivers.

This has led to submerge of many government offices, schools and human inhabited areas in Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur and Thoubal Districts. Disaster management department has issued alert for flood and landslide.

It has also predicted heavy rain at many places in the state. Transmission of All India Radio Imphal was disrupted this morning due to the flash flood.
