  • Mumbai : Mars International India, world’s leading chocolate manufacturer, today announced the launch of its popular SNICKERS chocolate in for tvc copy_6 x 4.25 inch_Post Card Engall new vegetarian ‘avatar’. The new vegetarian SNICKERS® bar has been specially manufactured keeping in mind the growing number of vegetarians in India.

    To cater to the increase in demand  for ‘eggless’ chocolates, and our objective to offer the best possible relation between quality and price, Mars has set-up a completely new assembly line  to manufacture the new vegetarian SNICKERS® specially for the Indian market. SNICKERS vegetarian chocolate will be available in two pack sizes – 25gms and 54gms across retail outlets, departmental stores and ‘kirana’ shops in India. The non-vegetarian SKU’s will however continue to be available in the market as well.

    Speaking during the launch of new SNICKERS, Mr. MV Natarajan, Managing Director, Mars International India, Chocolate Business, said “Our endeavour is to bring quality chocolates that will satisfy the Indian palate. SNICKERS® is an International Brand with 80 years of legacy. All the chocolates from MARS bouquet have received a tremendous response in India be it Mars, Galaxy, Bounty, Twix or SNICKERS. The launch is in line with our business objective of growing our SNICKERS range in India. With SNICKERS green dot we wish to cater to our growing vegetarian consumers. We believe that SNICKERS with its unique taste, peanut content, distinct size and shape will be a perfect choice for people to satisfy hunger”.

    SNICKERS®, an iconic chocolate brand of Mars International India, recently turned heads with the launch of its new television campaign (TVC) featuring Rekha and Urmila Matondkar. An adaptation of the award-winning global campaign ‘You’re Not You When You Are Hungry’, the new TVC featured ‘diva’ Rekha in her first ever television campaign, the charismatic Urmila Matondkar and was directed by the famous Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali. The new SNICKERS® vegetarian is a step forward as part of the growth strategy for Mars Inc in India.
