Mumbai, 23rd September 2010: Mauj Mobile, widely regarded as pioneer of Mobile Internet services in India, has today announced an expanded management team aimed at extending the company’s focus and commitment to the mobile services business by appointing Mr. Prasad Nair as the Head of Sales, Mr Hari Nair as the Head of Content Operations and Mr. Jayant Verma as the Head of Product Development.
As Head of Sales (Content Business and International Business), Mr. Prasad Nair, will be responsible for New Business Development, day to day engagement with Indian and International Clients and ongoing revenue management. Prasad brings with him, over 12 years of experience in IT and Telecom Industry handling regional head roles in Spice Digital and Airtel Enterprise Services.
Mr. Hari Nair joins Mauj as Head of Content Operations and will be responsible for leading all Content related functions which include licensing acquisition, operations and programming of Content and working closely with the content partners of the Company and the mobile operators. Hari has over 12 years of professional experience with companies such as Comviva, Soundbuzz (Motorola), Reliance and Repro in various roles around Content and Technology Operations Management. He’s been in the mobile VAS space for the past seven years;
Mr Jayant Verma appointed as Head of Product Development will be responsible for innovation, product development and product operations at Mauj. With a career span over 14 years, he has a decade of experience in telecom VAS market, developing and managing consumer VAS products and services on various mobile media including mobile internet (WAP/GPRS), on-device OSes, SMS, and Voice with organizations such as One97 Communications Ltd and ACL Wireless Ltd.
