Mumbai: Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) has recently been accorded with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001:2013 & 9001:2015 certifications for its Information Security Management System (ISMS) & Quality Management System (QMS) respectively. The policies and practices have been assessed by Pyramid Certifications LLP.

ISO 27001:2013 is a globally recognized standard for Information Security Management System (ISMS). The ISMS is a framework of best practices that ensures adequate safeguards for the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of MCXCCL’s information and services. Whereas, ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management System (QMS) focuses on process approach and MCXCCL’s ability to consistently provide services to its stakeholders such as facilitating clearing & settlement activities through fund settlement, margining and risk management system, along with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

By meeting the extensive criteria for these standards, MCXCCL affirms its ability to consistently deliver effective quality management systems and comply with security requirements. Further, it endeavours to drive continuous improvement in its services, and internal processes and help develop greater confidence amongst all its stakeholders.
