  • Medical Industry Leaders Collaborate to Eliminate Traditional Paper Process

Sacramento, CA: Precision Medical Products (Precision) and Simple Admit announced today the collaborative launch of Precision Express, a new online DVT prevention portal which allows the secure exchange of patients’ critical health information prior to a scheduled surgery. When healthcare providers and medical suppliers have advanced access to health history and insurance details, it ensures better outcomes for patients during pre- and post-surgery care.

Precision Express is a secure, cloud-based solution that automates the current paper-based DVT protocol process that medical staff have historically collected, often on the same day as surgery. Using Precision Express, the patient completes forms online, and that information is shared with the patients’ medical team, allowing ample time to ensure optimal DVT solutions are used for every patients’ surgery.

Precision CEO, Jeremy Perkins, believes the new portal aligns with the company’s goal to not only save lives, but help 200,000 patients per year recover more quickly and experience less pain. “We are committed to improving outcomes, one patient at a time, and Precision Express will be a seamless solution for patients during what is typically a stressful time.”

Precision Express is expected to be used frequently to address durable medical equipment (DME) and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) solutions. “By combining Precision’s best-in-class proprietary DVT/DME solutions with Simple Admit’s innovative Patient Relationship Management (PRM) platform, we have transformed the DVT process,” said Dan Coholan, Simple Admit CEO. “Patients also experience less pain, ASC staff benefits from process automation, and surgeons have the optimal DVT solutions for each surgery.”

Precision Express saves time and money while maintaining compliance and efficiency,” explains Precision’s Chief Revenue Cycle Officer, Marc Reynolds. Simple Admit EVP, Mike Horning, added “This strategic partnership is based on the understanding that ASCs are better served when their patients’ health history information and DVT/DME requirements are seamlessly integrated.”
