  • Hyderabad: In a materialistic world where everybody is after money and material comforts, one many Dharmaraj Ranka, a 78 years old well to do retired jeweller who is on the mission of protecting Indian holy animal cow for the past 25 years is embarked on a program of a  different kind, a mega spiritual program—Mega Saraswati Puja.

People pray goddess Lakshmi for Money. It is common.  But very few pray Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, art, wisdom, and learning. If you have knowledge and wisdom money will follow you. It is not to prove that knowledge is a better treasure than money. One has to work towards gaining knowledge more than money because where there is knowledge, there is light. In a nutshell, earning knowledge should be at the top of anybody’s priorities’ list; the rest will follow for sure.  And through this spiritual program, we want to inculcate this good understanding in the minds of people particularly children, this Sunday, November 25 here in the city at Satyam Shivam Sundaram Gaushala informed Dhramraj Ranka.

Satyam Shivam Sundaram Gaushala is South India’s Cow Shelter, where 5300 Cows rescued from the slaughterhouses are sheltered.  The Saraswathi Puja will be held in the five-acre premises of Satyam Shivam Sundaram Cow Shelter located at Gaganapahad, on the way to Shamshabad Airport.

    Jain Monks will also grace.
