  • Mi Casa Collective – An Exhibition For Your Home Will Mark The Beginning Of The Upcoming Festive Season

    Published on September 29, 2021

A curation of brands for your home, featuring 35 labels, will be held at Bikaner House, India Gate on 15th & 16th October 2021

The festival of lights is almost here and it is a season of intimate gatherings, joyous celebrations and of course gifting. To ring in the festivities and to celebrate the coming together of friends and families post the lockdown, Mi Casa Collective is back with its annual physical exhibition. For this show, Mi Casa Collective’s co-founders Sonali Batra and Akshita Sekhri wanted to create an ambience for those with a discerning eye for interior design and décor. For this reason, they picked the iconic Bikaner House to be the venue of their carefully curated exhibit of Indian décor brands. The Mi Casa Collective show aims to showcase a mélange of traditional and modern Indian homeware brands that embody the soul of hosting intimate gatherings.

From Fine Art, Carpets, Furniture, Décor, Tableware, Outdoor Living, Home Textiles to Floral Arrangements, Bath and Bedding Linen and Gifting—the two-day exhibit will capture the gamut of products in the interior space. From exquisite decor accents to lifestyle accessories and more, Mi Casa Collective presents the ideal wish list for this festive season. For instance, Ritu Kumar Home will exhibit an eye-catching range of bed linen and tableware, which is a celebration of indigenous art forms and promises to be a visual treat for design enthusiasts. Shades of India will showcase a selection of soft furnishings and home linen that is an ode to the age-old textile techniques of India.

“Ritu Kumar Home defines comfortable luxury for homes that like to tell their own story. With a vintage lens, it evokes the nostalgia of long summer days and decadent winter nights. We are excited to display our range at Mi Casa Collective!” adds Mr Amrish Kumar, Managing & Creative director of Ritu Kumar.

As the world slowly opens up after the lockdown, Mi Casa Collective hopes to commemorate the joyous occasion of the coming together of friends and families. The show comprises carefully curated pieces of statement Fine Art, Carpets, Furniture, Home furnishings & Décor. Expect to be immersed amongst design elements in each corner as they inhabit and take you on an interactive design journey. Furthermore, in light of the ongoing pandemic, the show will maintain all recommended health and safety measures.

“We want people to feel safe stepping out and shopping in person once again. We want them to feel at ease at Mi Casa Collective, as if they have come to our homes. The show for us is a way to end the curse of the pandemic and touch base with our customers again. The idea is also to invite our online consumers to touch and feel the products. Rest assured that Mi Casa Collective and Bikaner House will be abiding by the Covid-19 protocols and taking strict precautions,” adds Akshita Sekhri and Sonali Batra, Founders of Mi Casa Collective.
