Mizoram : Huge Cache of Arms and Ammunition recovered

Guwahati : Two persons arrested when an operation was conducted in the state and recovered 199 live rounds of .22 ammunition who were related in the case. As per sources a joint operation by troops of Assam Rifles and Special Narcotics Department, Mizoram conducted in general area of Chhinga Veng in Aizawl of Mizoram on Wednesday. During the search operation, they recovered 199 live rounds of .22 ammunition.The arrested persons have been identified as Lalhmangaiha, (24 yrs) who is a resident of Mizoram and the accomplice as Limona, (31yrs), a resident of Bangladesh. The arrest persons along with seize ammunition have been handed over to the Police for further investigation.The nabbed persons along with recovered ammunition have been handed over to Aizawl Police for further investigation.
