Lyon, FRANCE – euronews will roll out an exceptional operation to cover the royal wedding in Monaco starting Wednesday, 29 June. Every day, the euronews team will present portraits and analyses, along with behind-the-scene preparations for the wedding and the special concert given by Jean Michel Jarre for the occasion. A “Monaco Wedding” feature will be shown at the end of each News edition along with a No Comment series dedicated to the event – including live No Comments.
An exclusive interview with the Prince and his bride-to-be, by reporter Isabelle Kumar a few days before the ceremony, will be aired in two parts. Each report is beingbroadcast in all 10 languages of the channel, aired live on TV as well as on Catch-up TV on the internet. Live No Comment for the Jean Michel Jarre concert at 22:00 CET* euronews will present an exclusive live broadcast of Jean Michel Jarre’s concert – a present from the Prince to the people of Monaco to celebrate the wedding, a historical event for the monarchy. The show will be aired live via the famous programme No Comment and on all of its media platforms. It will be fully broadcast live oneuronews.net. This event is part of an exclusive global partnership launched in May between the artist and the international news channel.
