  • Motorola introduce Android based Smart phones

    India:  Motorola launched two brand new Android based smart phones the Milestone XT720 and Blackflip in India. The duo comes with different features and prices to compete with its rival Samsung Galaxy S.

    Believed to be World’s slimmest smartphone, the Milestone XT720 comes with features such as an 8 MP camera with Xenon flash, support of HD video recording, and a 3.7-inch touch screen display with a WVGA (480X854) resolution. Loaded with Android 2.1, the phone has an HDMI cable that allows HD video to be viewed directly on an HD TV.

    The new Motorola Milestone XT720 also features an 8GB microSD card with support of up to 32GB display. The device is priced at Rs. 34,990.

    Similarly, the reverse-flip design Blackflip boasts of a friction hinge that allows the QWERTY keyboard to flip underneath for working in tabletop mode. The model comes with features such as a 3.1-inch HVGA screen, a 5 MP camera with auto-focus LED flash, a GPS, stereo Bluetooth, MPEG 4 capability, 3.5 mm headset and expandable memory of up to 32GB.

    The Blackflip has also a Backtrack feature, a touch panel located on the other side of the device. The new device is available at the cost of Rs. 22,990 only.
