Mr. Umesh Kumar Sharma, Director, Vermmillion Advertising, has been appointed as the Associate Vice President of the Delhi Athletics Association on Oct 06, 2021. He has been actively working to develop athletics as a career option for the young generation.

Mr. Sharma has been associated with Vermmillion Communications for almost a decade. He is also the Director of Water Digest, a magazine that disseminates valuable insights and information about water related issues across the country. He has been associated with Delhi Advertising Club and served the organisation in different roles including member of the executive committee and joint secretary.

Apart from these, Mr. Sharma is also an avid basketball player and has represented Delhi in several national games. He was a part of the Junior India Basketball team and represented the nation in the International Games held in Islamabad, Pakistan. The team secured 2nd position and was awarded by the then Deputy PM, Shri L K Advani.

His passion to do something for the underprivileged led him to work as a member of the Labour Welfare Board, Govt. of NCT of Delhi where he helped to initiate state welfare funds for the labourers so that they get access to quality healthcare facilities and their children get the education that they deserve.

Now that he has assumed his new role as Associate Vice President of Delhi Athletics Association, the future of the organisation seems nothing but bright.
