  • Muster roll employees deprived of salaries for 23 months

    Haflong  : Even after order of Gauhati High court at least seven muster roll employees of Soil Conservation department in Dima Hasao are deprived of twenty three months from last March 2017.

    These hapless MR employees with meagre salary had been suffering a lot due to non-regularisation of their services and non-payment of their salary had approached the High court which has ordered the concerned Department to clear up their pending salaries and to regularise their services within three months from the issue of the order dated 01.11.2018 but the department neither regularise their services nor cleared up their salaries.

    Talking to this correspondent Subal Nayak, Debeswar Kachari expressing their utter sufferings alleged that they had been travelling pillar to post for the solution to their problems but none found to be helpful. They also said they have been approaching the departmental High ups, who instead of helping said since they have approached the High court let the High court clear up the salaries. High court can give order not the salary.

    In fact these MR employees had been working as Muster Roll in the soil conservation department in Dima Hasao for more than 20 to 30 years and there has been office memorandum dated 27.06.2013 for regularisation for service has to be considered strictly in terms of the said OM.
