Maharashtra : Mr. Chandrakant Aagonde , Chairman ,N.M.M.T (Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport) flagged-off the trial Mercedes-Benz city bus along with Mr. GC Mangle – General Manager , N.M.M.T. & Mr Srinivas Chilukuri, General Manager – Buses (Sales & Marketing), Mercedes-Benz India.

The Mercedes-Benz trial city Bus offered to N.M.M.T. are built on the robust Mercedes chassis- O 500 U1726. The bus will be run on the C.B.D. to Bandra Railway Station (W) and subsequently on C.B.D. to Borivali Railway Station route. The Mercedes-Benz city bus has been offered for a trial period of one month for thorough trial to check technical sutability and viability of the buses on city road conditions.

As one of the most upcoming city transport service in India, N.M.M.T has prospered under the able guidance and leadership of Mr. Chandrakant Aagonde, Chairman, N.M.M.T. Mr. Aagonde has been the driving force for several improvisations initiated successfully  at N.M.M.T.
