    Naaz Joshi becomes first Indian Transsexual to win Ms. World Diversity 2018

    New Delhi. Naaz Joshi becomes first Indian Transsexual to win the title of Ms. World Diversity 2018 held in Dubai. Breaking all the barriers and fighting all the odds, Naaz is now an inspiration to many. She is the first transsexual to compete against women. She defeated 22 participants and won the title. 
     
    Ms World Diversity is the second pageant in the world which allows transsexual models to participate with women. There were three main titles -Miss Teen Diversity, Miss World Diversity and Ms World Diversity. 
    According to Naaz, ” It is very difficult to beat the participants from different countries and continents. I feel immensely proud to bring the crown to my homeland India. After winning this pageant I hope people will change their attitude towards transgender or transsexual citizens and help them live a normal life.”

    Aizya Naaz Joshi, born a transgender in a Hindu Muslim community, Naaz was always treated as a shame by her family. Her school mates called her hijra, impotent and what not? She didn’t have a good childhood as she grew up in a prejudice society, she absolutely had no friends in school, but she did not give up.
    She has walked many ramp shows including show stopper for save the pug in 2014 and Rajasthan designer festival 2014. She launched MIHM a platform for MARRIED INDIAN ladies to showcase their talent through a beauty pageant name MRS INDIA HOME MAKERS. In mere one and half year, Naaz has done six beauty pageants under the label MIHM and sent more than 18 women to compete for international pageants. Naaz herself won MS REPUBLIC INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY AMBASSADOR 2017 title and MS. UNITED NATIONS AMBASSADOR title.
    Naaz is also a social activist and raises funds for NGO through her beauty pageants and tries to do little for the under privileged. Her aim is to spread happiness to people who perhaps did not support her when she needed them the most. She do ground work with loads of NGOs and raise funds for HIV and aids kids. She have been to 10 villages and given them knowledge on self improvement and menstrual hygiene.
