  • National Integration Tour for students

    Kokrajhar: Under Operation Sadbhavna, the Red Horn Division of the Indian Army based in Kokrajhar has organised a 15 days long National Integration Tour comprising 20 boy students and two teachers from different schools of Kokrajhar district.

    Commander, Double One Brigade to ceremonially flagged off tour at the Army camp Patharghat in Kokrajhar.

    The tour is schedule to cover Amritsar, Dalhousie and Chandigarh and will include the visit to places with historical importance like Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Attari-Wagah Border, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum and Rock Garden etc.

    The aim of the tour is to acquaint the students with rich cultural heritage, history, current scenario and mainstream education system of the country. The tour intends to create & enhance awareness among the students to promote National Integration, unity, a focused approach for future. The tour will also assist them in shaping the perception of their fellow students and family members.
