Haflong : The Chief Executive Member, North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council Debolal Gorlosa appealed to the people of Haflong town and Dima Hasao to keep  Haflong town and  district Dima Hasao always clean and beautiful.

The Council team and Haplou Committee of Haflong took an initiative to clean areas surrounding the Haflong Lake today which was participated by CEM, Debolal Gorlosa, EM Nandita Gorlosa, MACs Nojit Kemprai, Monjit Naiding etc.along with members of Haplou Committee also planted saplings.

Addressing the participants CEM Gorlosa requested all the citizens to just take the responsibility to keep this beautiful Haflong as ours own. Further he requested not to throw garbage while visiting such as lake, Historical places, Parks and other public places.

‘Let us keep the mountains, rivers, trees, plants and beautiful places of our district clean and always beautiful all together, It’s only then people will come to our district as tourists and our district will grow and develop in turn’ Gorlosa added.
