Union Minister Piyush Goyal has said that NDA government will ensure that Indian industry and trade will always be protected. In a reply to a question in Lok Sabha on withdrawal of Generalised System of Preferences by the US, the Minister said the government will never compromise on national security and sovereignty. He said these are issues that come up in international trade from time to time and trade negotiations are going on. Mr Goyal added that India has a strong and healthy relationship with the US and diplomatic and trade engagement will get stronger in the time to come
